HAM AND EGG SCALLOP WITH BREAD

6 tbsp butter 90ml
20 oz mushroom 568ml
ツス cup flour 125ml
1 tsp salt 5ml
ツシ tsp pepper 1ml
4 cups milk 1 quart
12 hard-cooked eggs sliced 12
2 cups cubed cooked ham 500ml
1 cup bread crumbs 250ml
ツシ cup melted butter 60ml

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a casserole. Melt 6 tbsp butter in medium saucepan. Add mushroom and cook gently, stirring. Sprinkle in flour, salt, pepper, and stir to blend. Return to heat and cook until boiling. Put 1/3 of the egg slices in the bottom of casserole. Add 1/3 of the ham cubes and 1/3 of the sauce. Combine bread crumbs and ツシ cup melted butter. Sprinkle over top. Bake for 30 minutes.
