私達の心や考えがクリスマスにドアに飾りつけられたクリスマスライトと同じように、カラフルになるのかもしれません。彩られた街並み、クリスマスの楽しさを象徴した大きいモールにある木がきらきら光ってます。強い信仰心がある人はシンバン　ガビと呼ばれるミサに出席します。

クリスマスの数日前からクリスマスイブまで、朝４時から6時まである教会のミサをシンバンガビと言います。多くの人が出席してます。

May our hearts and minds be as colorful as the parols and Christmas lights we put up on our doors. Colorful streets, glittering Christmas lights in malls with huge Christmas trees a symbol of a merry and joyful Christmas. May the people strenghten also their devotion to Jesus Christ s
everyone attend the “Simbang Gabi” mass.

本当の意味のクリスマスは時間がいっぱいあります。少しでも、多分私達は誠実な聖杯を他の人に与えなくてはいけません。クリスマスは私達に助ける機会を与えてくれました。もし私達にその機会があれば、見過ごすことは出来ません。私達はチャリティーや良い行いをするべきです。それはクリスマス以上の事です。かれらを幸せにします。彼らは感謝します。彼らの家族が与えられない、彼らの望みをかなえるからです。

クリスマスになるとストリートチルドレンに、ボランティア活動やアウトリーチプログラムが組まれます。フィリピン人の優しい一面が見られます。

Christmas in its true sense, is a time of giving. In little ways, perhaps we should learn to give to others as much as the Higher Being we faithfully worship gave us. Christmas give us the opportunity to lend a hand, give alms and little gifts to the poor ones. I believe if we have this opportunity let us not it pass by. Yes, we should do some acts of charity and goodwill everyday because it is more than a christmas. We let them to be happy in a way they are so much thankful that their family cannot give them they wish for.

クリスマスはまた、私は遅くまで夜起きています。家中に贅沢な飾り付けをした家を見ます。恋人への贈り物を準備し、心配事を忘れます。それがクリスマスです。キリストの誕生日を思い出します。神様は、私達の全ての罪の救いをその男に与えました。

Also in Christmas, I see a reason to spend without limits, put up　luxurious holiday decorations all over the house, prepare gifts to our loved　ones and forget our worries. It is the Advent of Nativity, a time to　remember the birth of Jesus Christ that God had sent to give man in the　redemption of all our sins.
