Good day to all blog viewers! How are you doing there? I hope all of you are doing fine. By the way, Sinulog festival of Southern part of Negros island is their festivity. This is celebrated every January. Participated by a lot of locals in dancing and singing competition . But the most famous is the street dancing competition. U will see a lot of young people in the street. You will feel the spirit of Sinulog festival by painting yourself. Have a nice day to all!

Hello. Thank you very much for always showing us nice pictures.
By the way, I thought that festival was held only in Cebu. When I was living there, I really enjoyed watching that. Many people in your country visited there to watch the parade. So, I thought it was a great local festival in Cebu.

Hello Fugakuan, thank you for posting your comment. Nope but actually Cebu and kabankalan have the same dates of fiesta of their Patron Saint Sto Nino. The festival was great!

Hi. For so many years now I haven’t attended the Sinulog. If I can correctly remember the last festival I had attended was in 1982. We had a tribe participating on the street dance parade and won few years back. I went home once in my homeplace somewhere in Kabankalan long time ago. Kabankalan has a massive improvement and an airport which will become operational in 2010… I am not sure yet. Good stuff Leonor…Post some more pix of our place…Thanks……….Good bye

Hello Benjie, thank you for posting your comment. Sorry, just once been there in your hometown during Sinulog. I can’t take more pictures there due to very far and I am working in an office. Maybe next year I will visit there again.
